With the September 2024 release of a new chapbook, Smaller Versions, I am back to readings. The first will be an online event on Thursday, September 19th, at 7:00 pm. Details to follow soon.
If you are interested in having me read, I will do so if it is driving distance from Atlanta, for no reading fee. Reach me through the contact page. While I have not done readings since the pandemic, I have been busy writing. My completed manuscript, This Laborious Nowhere, is currently looking for a home. You can see some of the poems from the collection that already have been published in Recent Work. I hope to begin reading again next year.
The 2019 Alabama Book Festival will be Saturday, April 13 in Montgomery from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in Old Alabama Town. I will be a featured reader and will be there to promote Long Alabama Summer. Don't worry, though, I have new poems to share as well. Check back here for my reading schedule in late February.
Here is the ABF website for the most current information: http://alabamabookfestival.org/welcome.html I'll be reading with Jackie Trimble on Wednesday, 4/18 at the Library Atrium. We will read after the campus Voices of Resistance which start at 3:30. Please join us!
